Pigeon Enamel Pin

This black nickel enamel pin features the Rock Pigeon, a resilient city dweller found the world over. Often overlooked, pigeons are some of the most resilient birds, thriving in cities, suburbs, and rural towns.

Having descended from wild Rock Doves, domesticated pigeons still nest on ledges and rooftops, mimicking the cliffside homes of their ancestors. Their soft coos are a familiar urban soundtrack, and studies have shown pigeons possess impressive memory and navigation skills.
