The blade of the Morakniv Risberg Heavy Duty 14689 Polished C100S, Black Skies Polypropyleen, outdoor knife measures 8.9 cm in length and 3.2 mm in thickness. The total length is 20.5 cm.
This knife has a scandi grind. As the name somewhat suggests, this method of sharpening originated in Scandinavia. A scandi edge excels at wood carving, which is why it is a popular choice for bushcraft knives. Sharpening a scandi edge is very easy, because the wide blade automatically guides you over the sharpening stone.
The blade has been polished, this is a premium blade finish that leaves no room for error. A polished blade ensures minimal friction while cutting, making the knife cut like a dream.
