Minoti's blue waterproof jacket has a fixed hood and a striped lining that shows at the neckline when the zip is open. Blue reads well on a grey school-run morning, and the shell lets rain run off instead of soaking through. The hood stays attached, so it never ends up at the bottom of the bag on the one wet day. The zip runs the full length of the front with nothing to fumble in the rain, and two front cargo pockets close under button flaps so pebbles gathered on the walk stay put.
